Return to Learn is a professional development e-learning course designed for educators to help get students safely back into the classroom and academics after they have sustained a concussion, without making symptoms worse. This online course is intended for educators, counselors, school psychologists, school nurses, and administrators primarily in middle and high school settings, though it may be taken by elementary educators as well. Our Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic team at Children’s Wisconsin has developed a process for schools to follow and provided adjustments that can be made to help support the student as they recover.
Upon successful completion of the course, educators will receive a Return to Learn Champion designation as well as resources to support the implementation of Return to Learn in their school setting.
